SAM Pro Enterprise to unify separate data centers for New Jersey firm
CLEVELAND — June 13, 2006 — Data-Basics, a leading provider of Internet-based service management software for the service, construction and facilities management industries, today announced that South Jersey Energy Service Plus has chosen its SAM Pro Enterprise software solution. The software will unify many of the company's separate data centers into one, integrated system.
As a leading provider of energy-related services to residential and commercial customers, South Jersey Energy Service Plus provides installation, service and maintenance solutions across an array of disciplines including HVAC, plumbing services, emergency generator installation and indoor air quality. The company selected SAM Pro Enterprise after an extensive evaluation process led by a diverse team of management and front-line employees.
"We chose SAM Pro not only because of its robust platform and capabilities but the willingness of the Data-Basics management team to accommodate our thinking," said Robert Fatzinger, vice president and chief operating officer, South Jersey Energy Service Plus. "We know they will work well with us."
South Jersey Energy Service Plus also recognized SAM Pro Enterprise's integration as a key factor in the selection process.
"We were very satisfied with the whole service management package, from call taking to scheduling to dispatching work to the field," said Fatzinger.
Central to both the service management and back office accounting components in SAM Pro Enterprise is Data-Basics' signature Rules-Based Management™ technology. Rules-Based Management enforces a predetermined set of rules that help to streamline and automate the service workflow. South Jersey Energy Service Plus also plans to deploy TechAnywhere 2.0 – SAM Pro Enterprise's integrated wireless field service software – to receive work orders, enter time and update work orders from the field.
Perhaps most important though is the impact that SAM Pro Enterprise is expected to have on the firm's ability to grow.
"We're excited to have a system that will allow us to grow more efficiently," Fatzinger said. "A system like this will allow us to implement new offerings for our customers more quickly, and to integrate these offers seamlessly into our existing portfolio of products and services."
