TechAnywhere™ 2.0 will be presented at the New Product Technology Theater
CLEVELAND — January 17, 2006 — Data-Basics will demonstrate the latest in wireless field service software, TechAnywhere 2.0, at the New Product Technology Theater taking place during the 2006 AHR Expo in Chicago. Tim Carcione, Senior Product Engineer for Data-Basics, will present "TechAnywhere 2.0: The New Generation Of Mobile Workforce Software" at noon on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in Theater A of the McCormick Center.
TechAnywhere 2.0 supplies technicians with mobile access to work orders using an array of wireless devices such as tablet PCs and Windows CE devices. The tablet PC solution combines the look of paper work orders with enhanced functionality, such as drop-down boxes for accurate data entry, automatic conversion of handwriting to text and online access to equipment history, notes or specifications.
"We're excited to present TechAnywhere 2.0 at the HVACR industry's largest event," said Art Divell, CEO of Data-Basics. "With such a unique wireless field service software solution, you really have to see the software in action to appreciate it."
In December, the 2006 AHR Expo Innovation Awards were announced with TechAnywhere 2.0 receiving an Honorable Mention in the software category. The competition is conducted each year by ASHRAE Journal and sponsored by ASHRAE, the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) and International Exposition Company (IEC).
TechAnywhere 2.0 is an integrated component of SAM Pro™ Enterprise, a complete service management, job costing, CRM and mobile workforce solution for HVACR contractors. Data-Basics will exhibit both SAM Pro Enterprise and TechAnywhere 2.0 software at booth 3134 in the Software Center.
