Data-Basics’ History
Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Data-Basics was founded in 1974. The company was built on a philosophy of providing best-of-breed tools for customers.
Data-Basics has gained continued success with its powerful and customizable software suite as well as its exceptional, ongoing customer support. The Aberdeen Group and the Association for Services Management Integration selected Data-Basics and its client, Engineering Excellence, as a significant implementation in service management. Data-Basics has also been recognized for its industry leadership and technology advancements in multiple publications, including the ACHR NEWS, Contracting Business, Professional Retail Store Maintenance (PRSM), Mobile Enterprise, and Smart Business.
Data-Basics Today
Today, the company’s customer base of HVAC, specialty service contractors, facilities management, and national maintenance organizations continues to grow. Data-Basics markets products through a direct sales force, with offices and dealers located throughout North America.

Data-Basics’ new corporate office is located at 600 Broadway Avenue in Bedford, Ohio’s downtown historic district.
